Overview

The Building Automation Commissioning Manager (Cx Manager) 's role is significant and essential to the success of our Critical Facilities team. The Cx Manager is responsible for managing project schedules, commissioning activities, installations, personnel, and material ROJ dates. Their role ensures that all systems are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to requirements, thereby supporting the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans for mechanical, electrical, and technological compliance.
  • Lead and manage engineers and technicians, allocating 25-40% of the time to supervision and the rest to hands-on project work.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and codes.
  • Record all activities, test results, and deficiencies; provide progress reports.
  •  Attend and support necessary meetings; conduct performance reviews and training.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years in commercial mechanical construction, with expertise in building automation and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk BIM products, Procore, Smartsheet, and MS Office (Excel).
  • Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Experience with data center/critical facility automation systems is a plus.
