Overview

We seek a highly skilled and motivated BAS/Critical Facilities Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and programming control systems hardware to meet specific project plans and specifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the comprehensive design of control systems, ensuring all project specifications and mechanical system requirements are met.
  • Develop complex Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems to meet project specifications.
  • Create end-user graphical interfaces tailored to customer needs.
  • Oversee the start-up and commissioning processes for building control systems, including technician work plans and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of project conditions, update drawing sets and software programs, and manage as-built documentation.
Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of creating control programs, analyzing complex data, and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional interactive and communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD and other project-related software. Familiarity with Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is a plus.
  • Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience with building mechanical systems, electronics, basic electrical circuits, and computer programming.

  • Perform project management tasks such as creating job plans, planning and scheduling labor, conducting fiscal analyses, and more.
  • Order and coordinate project materials efficiently.
  • Execute and coordinate the integration of foreign protocols.
  • Develop and conduct site-specific owner training to ensure smooth operation of control systems.
