Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled BAS Field Service Engineer - Programmer to join our team in Denver, CO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the cutting edge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), with a focus on HVAC system controls and programming. In this field-based position, you'll engage hands-on with controllers, perform inspections, and develop system graphics and programming to ensure seamless project functionality. 

Key Responsibilities
  • On-Site Fieldwork: Install, configure, and troubleshoot controllers and associated components for BAS projects, ensuring reliable system performance.
  • BAS Programming & Compliance: Develop and test program sequences to meet project specifications and adhere to industry standards. Experience with specific BAS platforms is a plus.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, as-builts, program notes, and Operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals, to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Project Teams: Partner with sales to align on project needs, timelines, and budget and submit material orders as needed.
  • System Commissioning: Conduct thorough functional checkouts of HVAC systems, create system graphics based on floor plans, and assist with commissioning.
Qualifications
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in HVAC or Building Automation, including 2+ years in DDC control theory.
    • Working knowledge of BAS platforms, including Tridium, BACnet, and Bluebeam.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; basic knowledge of computer networking and setup procedures.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for effective project communication.
  • Local & Stable Work History: A demonstrated history of consistent, local work experience in BAS or related fields is preferred.
