We seek a local Assistant HVAC TI Sales/Estimating/Project Manager to join our San Diego, CA team. This role requires a candidate with a stable work history, HVAC field experience, or relevant construction management or mechanical engineering education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisted in sales, estimating, and managing tenant improvement (TI) HVAC projects, ensuring they were completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee and manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously, typically ranging from $100,000 to $500,000, with a maximum value of $1.5 million.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide accurate estimates, manage project schedules, and ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Utilize Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools to develop and maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Participate in business development activities by supporting sales and cultivating new client relationships.
- Prior hands-on field experience in HVAC service or construction is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- 2-3 years of project management experience overseeing commercial HVAC projects under $1.5 million.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Project is required.
- Experience working for large commercial mechanical contractors.
- Commercial project experience, including hospitals, schools, airports, high-rises, hotels, and arenas, is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Local candidates with a stable work history in the San Diego area are preferred.
