Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, programming, and commissioning direct digital control (DDC) systems for commercial HVAC.
- Troubleshoot and repair BAS components, including sensors, actuators, and controllers, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Work with industry-standard protocols like BACnet and Modbus to integrate DDC controls with building automation systems.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to configure and operate control platforms, such as Tridium Niagara, ALC, Alerton, and Distech.
- Document system configurations, service activities, and as-built drawings using tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- 1-3 years of experience building automation or HVAC systems, focusing on DDC controls.
- Familiarity with DDC controllers, sensor installation, and HVAC system components.
- Basic understanding of controls programming and integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
- Proficiency with software tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Revit is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a local and stable work history to support familiarity with regional standards and reduce project downtime.
