Job Title: Sr/Lead Controls PM
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior/Lead Controls Project Manager to oversee complex Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) projects in Omaha, NE. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in managing high-value commercial and industrial projects, ensuring seamless integration of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and automation technologies. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for large-scale HVAC controls and BAS installations, ensuring technical precision, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to design, install, and optimize DDC/BAS solutions, integrating systems such as Tridium, Distech, Trane, and ALC.
  • Oversee project financials, schedules, and risk management, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Utilize industry-leading software tools like Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), Trimble AutoBid, and MS Project for project tracking, documentation, and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and best practices while providing technical support to field teams.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing HVAC controls, BAS, or DDC projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, piping, and energy management strategies.
  • Expertise in DDC/BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Alerton, Distech, BACnet, and Schneider Electric.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Local and stable work history in the Omaha, NE market, demonstrating industry expertise and reliability.
