Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and medical gas systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables to align with client goals and timelines.
- Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and collaboration across departments.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the construction phase by reviewing submittals, resolving technical issues, and ensuring designs are accurately implemented.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a closely related field, and an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Strong track record of managing large-scale commercial and institutional projects in Southern California.
- Advanced expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong client relationships.
- LEED Certification or experience in sustainable building practices.
- A local and stable work history and demonstrated experience in the Los Angeles market are essential.
