Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a role based in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate is a local professional with a stable work history and a strong commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing project management background.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing projects from inception to completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules using Gantt charts, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
Prepare and estimate change orders, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations across various project sectors, including pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing project management.
Proven ability to build and manage project schedules using Gantt charts.
Experience in estimating and managing change orders.
Strong relationship management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Local and stable work history within the commercial mechanical construction industry.
Demonstrated project experience in sectors such as pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project and Bluebeam.
Familiarity with building automation systems like Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
Technical proficiency in Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
