Job Title: Senior Plumbing Estimator
Location: San Jose, CA

Position Overview
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plumbing Estimator to join our San Jose, CA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing estimation and a proven ability to analyze blueprints, prepare comprehensive cost estimates, and effectively communicate with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities 
  • Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for plumbing projects.
  • Obtain and evaluate material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Prepare conceptual estimates for budgeting purposes, providing clients with accurate financial expectations early in the project.
  • Effectively communicate, schedule, and coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and designers to gather necessary data and ensure all estimating duties are completed accurately.
  • Review bid documents for potential conflicts, issues, and discrepancies affecting the project scope or cost.
  • Supervise and coordinate personnel assembling estimates, ensuring all team members are aligned and working efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases, ensuring all estimation data is current and reflects market conditions.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of plumbing estimation experience, focusing on commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead a team of estimators.
