Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive HVAC project estimates from blueprints and documents.
- Review documents for scope, pricing impact, and potential conflicts.
- Obtain and assess material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
- Develop conceptual estimates for budgeting.
- Communicate with clients and project teams to refine estimates.
- Supervise estimating personnel and ensure accuracy.
- Propose value engineering and cost-saving alternatives.
- Maintain cost databases and historical data for estimating.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 5-7 years of HVAC estimating experience, focusing on commercial and industrial projects.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator with strong blueprint analysis skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards is preferred.
