Job Summary
We seek a dynamic and skilled individual to join our Los Angeles, CA team. This role requires a local candidate with a stable work history and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects across various sectors, including pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed Gantt charts to track project timelines and milestones, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
- Accurately estimate and manage change orders, ensuring any modifications to the project scope are documented and approved.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Apply specialized knowledge in managing projects within pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas to meet industry-specific requirements and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing.
- Proficiency in building Gantt charts, scheduling, and estimating change orders. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Must be a local candidate with a stable work history, demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment in previous roles.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
- Proven experience managing projects in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, healthcare facilities, hospitality, and entertainment venues.
- Deep understanding of commercial mechanical construction industry trends, standards, and best practices.
