We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Detailer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the commercial piping field. The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, TSI, Revit, and 3D piping design.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and architects to interpret piping system designs and specifications.
Utilize hands-on experience in the commercial piping field to create accurate and detailed piping drawings.
Employ AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, TSI, Revit, and 3D piping design tools to develop precise piping models.
Generate detailed shop drawings, isometrics, and schematics to support project requirements.
Work closely with project managers and field staff to address design issues and modifications.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure coordination of piping systems within the overall project design.
Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices related to piping design and detailing.
Provide support during the construction phase by responding to requests for information (RFIs) and clarifications.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the commercial piping field.
Extensive knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, TSI, Revit, and 3D piping design.
Strong understanding of piping systems and components.
Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret complex design specifications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Local presence in Phoenix, AZ, or willingness to relocate.
