Overview:
We are in search of a VDC/BIM Coordinator-Modeler with specialized expertise in commercial and industrial mechanical systems, including plumbing, piping, HVAC, and sheet metal. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, and requires a candidate with a strong local presence and at least 4 years of robust experience using Revit and Navisworks for advanced modeling and coordination.

We are in search of a VDC/BIM Coordinator-Modeler with specialized expertise in commercial and industrial mechanical systems, including plumbing, piping, HVAC, and sheet metal. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, and requires a candidate with a strong local presence and at least 4 years of robust experience using Revit and Navisworks for advanced modeling and coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for mechanical systems using Revit and Navisworks, ensuring precision and compliance with all project specifications.
- Lead the coordination process for complex mechanical installations, managing clash detection and resolution effectively.
- Engage in all stages of the BIM project lifecycle, enhancing model accuracy and project coordination from conception through completion.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to integrate mechanical system designs seamlessly.
- Conduct BIM coordination meetings, presenting models, clash reports, and resolving issues to streamline project execution.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and mechanical construction to continuously improve modeling and coordination practices.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of dedicated experience in BIM modeling and coordination, specifically with expertise in Revit and Navisworks.
- Solid background in modeling and coordinating mechanical systems such as plumbing, piping, HVAC, and sheet metal, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
- Proven ability to manage complex coordination efforts, including extensive clash detection and resolution.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction processes and the integration of various mechanical disciplines into BIM models.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Stable work history within the Phoenix area, demonstrating a strong local network.
