Job Summary
We seek a skilled Mechanical Construction Manager with a strong background in large commercial mechanical projects to join our team in Houston, TX. This role oversees the pre-construction phases of HVAC projects, requiring expertise in estimating, sales strategies, and value engineering. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history in the local area and demonstrate proficiency with on-screen takeoff software and other industry-relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Led and managed the pre-construction phase of large commercial mechanical projects, focusing on HVAC systems, ensuring projects were completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement estimating and sales strategies, providing accurate project cost estimates while identifying value engineering opportunities to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and specifications.
  • Utilize on-screen takeoff software for precise project planning and estimation; experience with CAD and Revit is plus but optional.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.
  • Proven track record in managing large commercial mechanical projects focusing on HVAC systems.
  • Strong expertise in estimating, sales, and value engineering strategies.
  • Proficiency in on-screen takeoff software, with working knowledge of CAD and Revit being advantageous.
  • Local candidates with a stable work history are required.
