Job Title: HVAC/DDC Assistant Project Manager
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC/DDC Assistant Project Manager to join a thriving team in Omaha, NE. This role offers the opportunity to manage innovative HVAC and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) projects that shape the built environment in one of the fastest-growing markets. As an integral part of the project team, you'll support large-scale commercial and industrial projects, ensuring technical precision, timely delivery, and seamless coordination with field teams. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and managing all phases of HVAC/DDC projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring deliverables align with technical requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and field teams on DDC/BAS implementations, ensuring compatibility with Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and BACnet.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and prepare project progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project for document creation, review, and project tracking.
  • Partner with project managers, subcontractors, and field staff to troubleshoot issues and provide real-time solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) with 3+ years of experience in HVAC/DDC project coordination or management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, piping, and medical gas. Familiarity with DDC systems such as Alerton, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric is highly valued.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to facilitate team collaboration and client interactions.
  • Proven track record of consistent employment in the Omaha, NE market, showcasing reliability and knowledge of local industry standards.
