Job Summary
We seek a skilled HVAC Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze construction documents, communicate effectively with clients and project teams, and manage the estimation process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Review project specifications, front ends, and documentation for scope or pricing impact items, identifying potential conflicts and issues.
  • Obtain and evaluate material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Prepare conceptual estimates for budgeting purposes, considering all relevant project factors.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, general contractors, construction managers, engineers, and designers regarding changes or adjustments to estimates.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases, utilizing historical data and spreadsheets to improve estimation accuracy.
  • Gather all necessary client data, analyze the information, and assemble a complete and accurate project cost.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork-oriented traits, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC estimation, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
