Job Summary
The HVAC Assistant Project Manager role offers a unique opportunity to support the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management or mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in sheet metal and ductwork installation. This role requires strong project estimation, scheduling, and customer relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish.
- Prepare project estimates, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to manage their expectations and address their needs.
- Assist in preparing and presenting project reports and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively, I have hands-on field experience in sheet metal and ductwork installation in commercial buildings.
- Proven experience in project estimation and scheduling.
