With an emphasis on innovation and technical precision, you'll be in charge of diagnosing, servicing, and optimizing automation systems for commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on building automation platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
- Configure, program, and test control systems for HVAC, chillers, boilers, and other commercial mechanical systems.
- Execute routine inspections and adjustments for automation systems, identifying and resolving potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam, MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid for precise reporting, documentation, and project management.
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to integrate automation systems and mechanical infrastructure seamlessly.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting, programming, and servicing DDC and PLC systems, specifically within the commercial mechanical construction industry.
- Familiarity with advanced building automation systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Bacnet, Schneider Electric, and Trane platforms).
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Trimble AutoBid.
- A local and stable work history demonstrating a long-term commitment to the Omaha, NE, area and a deep understanding of regional commercial construction standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
