Job Summary
We seek a skilled Controls Sales Engineer to lead growth efforts in the Building Automation industry across Bend and surrounding regions. This role focuses on expanding market reach, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored automation solutions that integrate HVAC, lighting, and energy systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of building automation systems, a proven consultative sales approach, and experience developing customized solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, offering consultative sales strategies to meet their automation needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Bend, Eugene, Portland, and SW Washington, enhancing market presence.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver comprehensive automation solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
  • Develop tailored proposals and work with leadership to implement effective growth strategies.
  • Represent the company at events like BOMA, IFMA, and ASHRAE while leading educational sessions for key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in building automation sales (B2B).
  • Strong knowledge of building automation systems, including BACnet, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and system integration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Proven, stable work history in the Bend or surrounding areas.
