Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior HVAC Service Technician to support our expanding team. This role will focus on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing large commercial systems. It offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology and provide clients with expert guidance to ensure efficient and long-lasting system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair large commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and performance data to assess system requirements accurately.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery to clients.
- Educate clients on basic troubleshooting, system maintenance, and energy-saving techniques.
- Stay current with the latest advancements and best HVAC service and repair practices.
- Strictly adhere to safety regulations and company protocols on all projects.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including service reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair, particularly with large systems.
- EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including tools and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical data, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated record of a local and stable work history.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Resides in or is willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.
