Job Title: Controls Project Manager
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Controls Project Manager to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Omaha, NE. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge HVAC control systems, optimizing building performance and energy efficiency. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a strong technical background in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of BAS/DDC projects, from planning and design through execution and closeout, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines.
  • Manage system integrations and commissioning for HVAC controls, including chillers, boilers, and advanced building automation platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid to manage project documentation, design reviews, and scheduling.
  • To maintain project profitability and efficiency, monitor budgets, track financial performance, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in BAS/DDC project management, focusing on commercial HVAC controls.
  • Strong expertise in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Alerton, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric control systems.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project for project tracking and coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Local and stable work history demonstrating reliability and knowledge of industry standards in the Omaha, NE market.
