Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Riverside, CA
Position Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for our Riverside, CA location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other substantial mechanical equipment. This position requires a local presence, a stable work history, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other substantial mechanical equipment. This position requires a local presence, a stable work history, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs (20-200+ tons), chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other large mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal HVAC system performance.
- Provide technical explanations and collaborate with customers on system issues and recommended solutions.
- Utilize manufacturer training and certifications, with preference given to those from Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, among others.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the service dispatch team to prioritize and schedule service calls efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during service visits.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians when required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
- EPA Universal certification is mandatory.
- Clean driving record and the ability to travel locally to client sites.
- Manufacturer training and certifications from Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, or similar HVAC equipment manufacturers are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
