We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, proven experience in large commercial HVAC projects, and proficiency in QuickPen Trimble AutoBid.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for large-scale commercial HVAC projects.
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Use QuickPen Trimble AutoBid software for estimating and takeoff processes.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to understand project scope and requirements.
- Perform risk analysis for tenders and contracts.
- Prepare and submit financial documents.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate the estimating process.
- Update and maintain a database of standard costing and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Estimator, with a focus on large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, operations, and industry best practices.
- Proficient with QuickPen Trimble AutoBid software.
- Excellent understanding of local codes and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
