Job Overview
As a Building Automation Project Manager, you will be pivotal in delivering innovative building automation system (BAS) projects across Dallas, TX. In this leadership role, you'll oversee advanced systems' successful design, implementation, and commissioning, ensuring they enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of building automation system projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the design and integration of BAS solutions, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric platforms.
  • Work closely with engineering, installation, and commissioning teams to align project goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize software like MS Project, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD to maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation project management within the commercial mechanical construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of BAS platforms, energy management systems, and industry software (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, delegate effectively, and drive project success.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.
