Job Title: Assistant BAS Project Manager

Job Summary:

As an Assistant BAS Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the design, programming, and project management of complex building automation systems (BAS) for advanced facilities. You will work closely with clients and project teams to ensure on-time and under-budget completion of projects. The role will also include a growing scope of financial responsibilities and requires strong skills in commissioning management, material ordering, and managing project estimates for RFIs and change orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and program Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.

  • Create user-friendly client interfaces.

  • Manage system startup and commissioning.

  • Order materials required for project implementation.

  • Build and manage the project schedule to ensure it is completed on time and under budget.

  • Manage estimates for Requests for Information (RFIs) and change orders.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Conduct client-specific training.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in control system programming.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.


Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Building Automation System (BAS) project management experience.

  • Local candidates strongly preferred.

  • Stable work history demonstrating longevity and success in previous roles.
