Job Overview
We’re seeking an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial mechanical projects throughout the Sacramento region. In this role, you’ll manage every aspect of project delivery—from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle HVAC and plumbing projects across commercial and institutional developments.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources while identifying and resolving project challenges.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and code compliance.
- Lead project meetings, track milestones, and maintain thorough project documentation.
- Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and MS Project for project planning and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing HVAC and plumbing projects in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal.
- Proficiency with construction tech: Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Navisworks.
- Based in the Sacramento area (or willing to relocate for a long-term opportunity).
