Senior Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Project Manager - Honolulu, HI

Key Requirements

  • Must be a local resident or have the ability to easily and permanently relocate to Oahu, HI.

  • BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) or related field.

  • 8-15 years of commercial project management experience.

  • Strong preference for prior engineering, preconstruction, and estimating experience.

  • Must have experience managing large hospital and federal projects.

  • Proficient in construction software like Bluebeam, scheduling and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.

  • Manage all project resources, including budgets, schedules, and staff.

  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

  • Act as the main point of contact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

  • Apply project management methodologies and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Review and interpret blueprints and project plans.

  • Estimate project costs and timelines accurately.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks.

  • Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as required.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

  • Report regularly on project status, progress, and forecasts to senior management.
