Job Summary
We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, be local to the area, and possess an EPA Universal Certification. This role requires expertise in servicing and maintaining a variety of large-tonnage applied HVAC equipment, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including large tonnage equipment such as chillers, boilers, package units, split systems, and VRF systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide accurate and detailed reports on work performed, including future maintenance or upgrade recommendations.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and recommend system improvements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including properly handling tools and equipment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
It must be located in the Los Angeles, CA area.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC service technician focusing on commercial HVAC systems.
EPA Universal Certification is required.
Proven experience working on large-tonnage HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, package units, split systems, and VRF systems.
Stable work history with a demonstrated commitment to previous employers.
Clean driving record with the ability to travel to various regional job sites.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
