Job Summary

We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, be local to the area, and possess an EPA Universal Certification. This role requires expertise in servicing and maintaining a variety of large-tonnage applied HVAC equipment, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including large tonnage equipment such as chillers, boilers, package units, split systems, and VRF systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports on work performed, including future maintenance or upgrade recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and recommend system improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including properly handling tools and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
  • It must be located in the Los Angeles, CA area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC service technician focusing on commercial HVAC systems.
  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • Proven experience working on large-tonnage HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, package units, split systems, and VRF systems.
  • Stable work history with a demonstrated commitment to previous employers.
  • Clean driving record with the ability to travel to various regional job sites.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
