Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Project Manager with extensive experience managing commercial plumbing projects, including tenant improvements and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of construction management principles and proven expertise in project planning, sales, estimating, and execution. Technical proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid is critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of commercial plumbing projects, from initial planning through successful completion, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Prepare and develop detailed cost estimates and project budgets while identifying and implementing strategies to optimize cost efficiency.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business while identifying potential opportunities for new projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators, supervisors, and superintendents, to ensure that project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid to accurately track, monitor, and report project progress and performance, ensuring timely adjustments where necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing project management, focusing on tenant improvements and large-scale special projects.
- Demonstrated estimating, sales, and project management proficiency within the commercial plumbing sector.
- Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulatory compliance specific to the Orange, CA, area.
