Job Summary
We seek an experienced Piping Foreman to lead and oversee piping installation projects in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial piping systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and industrial applications. This role is essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the installation of various piping systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping, ensuring all work adheres to design specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, guiding the team to execute installations accurately and efficiently.
Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols, building codes, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow, timely completion of tasks, and integration of piping systems with other construction activities.
Mentor and guide team members, offering technical support and direction and ensuring work quality meets project expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-7 years of piping installation experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or foreman role. Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping systems is essential.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with industry software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting abilities, capable of resolving installation challenges on-site while maintaining project timelines.
Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, interact with project stakeholders, and ensure a collaborative working environment.
Must be a local candidate with a stable and consistent work history, demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment in previous roles.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for local travel to job sites.
