Job Summary
We seek a Mechanical Foreman/Special Projects Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate is local, has a stable work history, and has extensive experience in hands-on fieldwork and project management within the commercial HVAC industry. This role is perfect for a candidate who started as a sheet metal or pipe fitter installer, moved into commercial HVAC service, and transitioned into project management. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee mechanical projects, including scheduling, budget management, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with building owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Supervise field teams, including pipefitters, sheet metal installers, and HVAC technicians.
  • Assist in the planning and executing of special projects, providing hands-on field support when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications
  • Local candidate with a stable work history in the Riverside, CA area.
  • Prior experience in the field as a sheet metal installer, pipe fitter, or similar hands-on role.
  • Experience in commercial HVAC service, working on piping systems and applied mechanical equipment such as chillers.
  • Proven experience in project management, overseeing projects from start to finish, including scheduling, change orders, and client communication.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate field teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, piping, and HVAC applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals.
