Summary

The HVAC Project Sales Engineer will be pivotal in our pre-construction and project management teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing HVAC project sales from initial client contact through project completion. This includes creating design solutions, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring successful project execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage HVAC project sales from initial client contact through project completion.
  • Create design solutions tailored to client needs and project specifications.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and project proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure project success.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships to secure new business opportunities.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to design, budget, and timeline.
  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in design and engineering, project management, or pre-construction within the mechanical contracting industry.
  • Experience with large-scale projects on plumbing, piping, and HVAC, particularly in labs and mechanical piping-heavy environments.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A stable work history with a focus on local projects is preferred.
