Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Project Manager to become part of our vibrant team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is ideally suited for someone with a robust background in commercial plumbing and HVAC, holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management. With at least 5 years of direct experience in design, estimating, and managing large-scale commercial projects, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in steering projects to successful completion. Mastery of industry-standard tools like BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution.
- Leverage technical knowledge to assist in the design of efficient plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Prepare detailed project estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Maintain and manage project documentation utilizing BlueBeam and Procore.
- Track and manage project budgets, schedule updates, and cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure on-time project delivery by coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Uphold quality assurance standards, surpassing industry norms and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC sectors, focusing on design, estimating, and project management.
- Proficient in BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore for project management.
- Demonstrated capability in leading sizable commercial projects to fruition.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- A local to Salt Lake City, UT, with a demonstrated stable work history.
Preferred:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
- Experience with green building practices and sustainability in construction.
