Job Title: Controls Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a dedicated Controls Project Manager to oversee building automation projects in Seattle, WA. This role is designed for an individual with significant experience in managing comprehensive control system projects, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery. The successful candidate will coordinate project teams, manage client interactions, and adhere to all project specifications, standards, and schedules.
Responsibilities:
Lead the management and execution of building automation and control system projects from start to finish.
Establish and maintain strong, proactive relationships with clients to ensure understanding and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Direct and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to meet and exceed project goals.
Manage budgets and financial aspects of projects, ensuring all financial targets are met and reporting is accurate.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
Maintain continuous communication with all project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing issues as they arise.
Document all aspects of the project process to ensure compliance and facilitate future reference.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the building automation or controls industry.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required; PMP certification is highly desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC controls, lighting, and security system projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams effectively.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of negotiating and building strong client relationships.
Local candidate preferred, with a stable work history and a commitment to long-term development in the Seattle area.
