Job Title: Contracts Administrator
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to oversee and manage the contracting processes within our organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, organization, and completion of contracts related to new construction and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, insurance-related activities, and subcontractor invoicing. This role requires a proactive approach to coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the review and administration of construction and service contracts.
Coordinate the intake and review process of contracts, collaborating with key stakeholders to gather necessary information and manage deliverables.
Oversee subcontractor insurance and payment processes, including auditing projects for correct insurance coverage and obtaining all necessary lien releases before finalizing payments.
Manage annual insurance audits, renewals, requests, and enrollments in programs.
Handle bond requests, tracking, and reporting, and develop standards for contracts, including general language and provisions.
Assist in the insurance claims process, including maintaining logs, ensuring notices, and compiling financial documentation.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in contract coordination, organization, and management within a large organization.
Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality and discretion.
Proficient in reading comprehension and analytical skills.
Experience with construction contracts, insurance management and compliance, and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Background in construction claims, litigation, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), or subcontractor management is advantageous.
