We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sheet Metal Production Worker to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for individuals with a stable work history and a minimum of three years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working on various projects related to sheet metal production.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
Read blueprints, drawings, and templates and apply knowledge in sheet metal fabrication tasks.
Use appropriate tools and equipment to measure, cut, bend, and manipulate sheet metal.
Inspect product quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the team to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
Must be a local resident of Phoenix, AZ or willing to relocate.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Proven stability in work history.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training is a plus.
Experience with specific brands of fabrication machinery.
Certification in metal fabrication or related fields.
