Responsibilities:
As an Assistant HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Assist in the planning, management, and execution of commercial HVAC projects, including schools, office buildings, and hospitals.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, installation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Conduct site visits, prepare estimates, and participate in sales and project management activities.
Utilize technology and software tools such as Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, and Microsoft Project to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project progression and address any issues or concerns.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
Monitor project performance, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices to maintain a high level of expertise in the field.
Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
2-5 years of commercial HVAC experience in service, construction, estimating, sales, or project management.
Familiarity with HVAC projects involving schools, office buildings, and hospitals.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their components.
Proficiency in using technology and software tools, including Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, and Microsoft Project.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
