Job Title: Senior HVAC Project Manager

Position Summary

The Senior HVAC Project Manager will manage all HVAC and sheet metal project aspects from inception to completion. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in mechanical project management, particularly in the HVAC and sheet metal sectors, who can lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of large HVAC and sheet metal projects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and adjusting as needed to meet financial goals.
• Ensure all work meets company and industry standards, conduct regular site inspections, and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the San Jose area or willing to relocate.
• Demonstrated consistency and reliability in previous roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing large projects.
• Minimum of five years of mechanical project management experience, specifically within the HVAC and sheet metal sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal work, and related mechanical processes.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience guiding diverse teams through complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
