Job Summary

We seek an experienced and driven HVAC Project Manager to join our team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field and at least five years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical, and organizational skills to oversee all phases of HVAC project delivery—from concept through completion—ensuring high-quality results delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial HVAC projects from design development through project closeout.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Provide technical oversight on HVAC system design, equipment selection, and installation.
  • Manage project documentation and communication using Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project platforms.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve project risks, and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and enforce safety and compliance protocols.
  • Report regularly on project status to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, industry codes, and construction practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Local to Orange, CA, or able to reliably commute or relocate.
