Job Title: Senior Controls Project Manager
Location: Orange, CA

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior Controls Project Manager to lead sophisticated projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector, primarily focusing on building automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC, DDC, and BAS integrations, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of control system implementation, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Supervise system design, installation, and commissioning using platforms like BACnet, DDC controls, Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, and Johnson Controls Metasys.
  • Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and technicians to streamline workflows and meet project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer specifications through detailed project oversight and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. EIT or PE license is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years in controls or building automation project management, with a proven stable and local work history.
  • Advanced expertise in BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, ALC, Schneider Electric, and Johnson Controls Metasys.
  • Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Visio, and BIM platforms such as Revit and Navisworks.
  • Familiarity with project planning tools, including Bluebeam and MS Project.
  • Industry-related certifications in controls or project management are highly desirable.
