Job Title: Service Technician (DDC/Controls)

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Service Technician (DDC/Controls) to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS) for commercial facilities in Ellensburg, WA. This full-time role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of critical building systems, delivering energy efficiency, reliability, and occupant comfort. The ideal candidate has a local and stable work history with at least three years of hands-on experience servicing BAS/DDC systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on BAS/DDC systems, including HVAC controls, chillers, air handlers, and VFDs.
Assist with system upgrades and commissioning new BAS installations, focusing on BACnet and DDC protocols for seamless integration.
To ensure system performance and reliability, work with leading BAS platforms, such as Tridium Niagara, Alerton, ALC, and Distech.
Provide exceptional customer service, including technical diagnostics, detailed reporting, and recommendations for enhanced system functionality.
Using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit, maintain accurate service documentation, including equipment modifications and system performance logs.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience servicing BAS/DDC systems in commercial settings, focusing on HVAC controls, chillers, and related equipment.
Strong proficiency with BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, and protocols such as BACnet and DDC controls.
Experience with design and documentation tools, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit, is highly preferred.
Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex BAS issues, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.
Local and stable work history, ensuring familiarity with regional building standards and the ability to respond quickly to service needs.
