Job Title: Senior Sheet Metal Field Lead
Location: Allentown, PA

Overview
We're hiring a Senior Sheet Metal Field Lead to manage commercial HVAC installations across projects in the Allentown, PA, area. This is a hands-on, tools-on leadership role for a seasoned HVAC professional with deep experience in airside installations, VRF systems, and copper piping. Responsibilities
  • Lead on-site installation of HVAC systems, including duct work, RTUs, VRF/VRV systems, and VAVs on commercial projects
  • Supervise and mentor a team of up to 7 field personnel, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with CAD and coordination teams to field-verify, measure, and order duct work from in-house fabrication
  • Work closely with project managers and scheduling teams using tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and critical path schedules
  • Flex between HVAC and Mechanical departments based on workload and company needs
Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of commercial HVAC installation experience, with a strong focus on sheet metal and airside systems
  • Proven leadership experience as a field foreman or lead on sizable commercial mechanical projects
  • Extensive experience with VRF/VRV systems and copper piping installations
  • Strong ability to interpret plans, coordinate with trades, and adapt to the field
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and construction scheduling processes
  • Stable, local work history in the commercial mechanical sector
Nice-to-Haves
  • VRV installation certification and/or factory startup training
  • Experience with piping systems or mechanical superintendent responsibilities
  • Background in both HVAC and mechanical scopes of work
Location & Work Environment
This position is based in and around the Allentown, PA area. Most work is performed on active commercial construction sites. Travel is local and limited. Expect a dynamic, team-driven environment with strong field and office staff support.
