Job Title: Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager
Location: Honolulu, HI

Summary

We seek a dedicated professional to oversee significant commercial and military construction projects in the vibrant city of Honolulu, HI. This role is ideal for a local candidate with a stable work history and extensive experience managing large-scale projects on military bases, hospitals, schools, and high-rises.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage plumbing and HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within budget and timeline.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, utilizing tools such as MS Project and Bluebeam.

  • Oversee installation and maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, plumbing, piping, and medical gas systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent field experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial and military construction, with a proven successful project delivery track record.

  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Local and stable work history, demonstrating commitment and reliability in previous roles.

Preferred Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in commercial and military settings.

  • Experience with advanced building automation systems and their integration into construction projects.

  • Familiarity with the unique challenges of managing construction projects in Honolulu and the surrounding areas.
