The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PLC programming, SCADA platforms, and project management to ensure the seamless execution of complex automation projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PLC/SCADA projects from initial design, system requirements gathering, and programming to installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Develop and program PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Modicon, using tools such as Studio 5000 and EcoStruxure Control Expert.
- Configure and deploy SCADA platforms, including AVEVA System Platform, Ignition SCADA, and FactoryTalk View SE, ensuring high-performance and scalable control systems.
- Perform system debugging, validation, and on-site testing to ensure smooth integration and functionality of automation systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, clients, and external contractors to ensure effective communication, troubleshooting, and timely project delivery within budget.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring the highest quality of work and client satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development, including experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
- Familiarity with Structured Text, Ladder Diagrams, and Function Block Diagrams for HMI development.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex automation systems.
- Demonstrated stable, local work history with a track record of long-term, reliable contributions in previous roles.
- PLC Systems: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix
- SCADA Platforms: Ignition SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, FactoryTalk View SE
- Programming Tools: Studio 5000, Unity Pro, EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation (EPO)
- HMI Development: Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams
