This role is crucial to ensuring that all piping projects are completed efficiently, on time, and aligned with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of various piping systems, including HVAC, plumbing, industrial piping, and medical gas systems.
- Collaborate closely with the Piping Foreman and other trades to ensure timely, within budget, and specification-compliant installations.
- To execute precise and efficient installations, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct site evaluations to identify the best installation approaches, anticipate challenges, and troubleshoot on-site issues.
- Maintaining a clean, organized work area ensures tools and materials are efficiently managed.
- Lead and coordinate with subcontractors and other teams to optimize workflow and installation processes.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in piping installation, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping systems.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation challenges.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-tier workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Local, stable work history with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local job site travel.
