Responsibilities:
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Work closely with sales engineers to review project bids, scope of work, and ensure client requirements are being met.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Leverage your HVAC engineering and sales experience to drive sales efforts and achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver on-time, under-budget, and above-specification results.
- Actively contribute to bid processes, including estimating costs and preparing detailed, competitive proposals.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of HVAC systems and equipment to ensure our company is at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a closely related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in HVAC engineering, specification, estimating, and sales.
- Proven track record of managing and training engineering teams.
- Proficiency in HVAC design and specification software tools.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a resident of Orange County, CA.
