We seek an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end execution of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, subcontractors, and clients, to streamline project workflows and resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Provide expertise in HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, plumbing, and mechanical piping, ensuring installations meet regulatory standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and manage budgets, project forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Utilize software tools like Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) to create detailed project documentation, track progress, and present updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years in mechanical project management, specifically within HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal disciplines.
  • Demonstrated stability and consistency in previous roles within the mechanical construction industry.
  • Familiarity with advanced project management tools and building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, or equivalent platforms.
  • Candidates must be based in San Jose or nearby to ensure hands-on project oversight.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal applications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software tools (Bluebeam, MS Project, Autodesk suite).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale mechanical projects in a fast-paced environment.
