We seek an experienced HVAC Fabrication Shop Manager to oversee the operations of our HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop in Las Vegas, NV. This critical leadership role will be responsible for managing daily production processes, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop, ensuring the production of high-quality HVAC components and custom products in alignment with project specifications and deadlines.
- Enforce and uphold daily QA plans, resolve quality issues, and ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Supervise and guide a team of fabricators, providing clear communication, feedback, and training. Foster a collaborative environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Manage work schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and refine production processes to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and training requirements, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
- Continuously assess and implement strategies to improve shop operations, ensuring cost-effective production while meeting all project requirements.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in HVAC or fabrication are preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing, with proven expertise in managing fabrication shops.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in team management, including developing team members and driving performance.
- A plus is proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Autodesk Fabrication or similar software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to resolve challenges as they arise.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC fabrication practices, materials, and tools used in sheet metal production.
- A local and stable work history is a must. Demonstrated consistency and reliability in previous roles.
