Job Title: Controls Project Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Controls Project Foreman to oversee the execution of building automation and controls projects in the Orange, CA area. This role focuses on managing installations, programming, and commissioning advanced building automation systems (BAS) in commercial mechanical construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of control projects, ensuring successful installation, programming, and commissioning of BAS systems.
Work with systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
Supervise and lead a team of technicians and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with control systems, providing technical guidance to the team.
Maintain detailed project documentation and communicate progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building automation and controls.
Proven track record of stability and professional growth within the industry, with local experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. EIT or PE certification is a plus.
Expertise in AutoCAD and Visio, with strong knowledge of BACnet and DDC control systems.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and energy management technologies.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
