Job Title: Building Automation/Data Center Field Service Engineer
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Overview
We seek a skilled Building Automation/Data Center Field Service Engineer to join our innovative Omaha, NE team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge building automation and control systems, particularly in data center environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and building automation technologies to ensure the efficient operation of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Automation Systems: Design, program, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) for HVAC, energy management, and data center operations.
  • SCADA and PLC Programming: Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless integration with building automation platforms.
  • Field Service Operations: Lead the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems, provide on-site technical support, and optimize system performance.
  • Project Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to meet project timelines and achieve deliverables.
  • System Upgrades and Maintenance: Manage upgrades to existing systems, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and reliability requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Proven experience working with building automation systems, particularly in data center environments.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of SCADA platforms and PLC programming languages such as Ladder Diagrams, Function Block Diagrams, and Structured Text.
  • Proficiency in building automation systems like Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Experience with HMI development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
  • Other Requirements:
